Overview Of Sensa

Sensa comes in powdered form and shares the similarities of a salt and pepper shaker. In fact that is the sole vision of Sensa, it’s supposed to be used like salt. Simply sprinkle Sensa on every single meal and this will supposedly supply the will power to not over eat and/or stop before you do eat your entire meal. Apparently Sensa has an effect on the brain that controls your hunger hormones. By using Sensa these hormones are stimulated and give your stomach the feeling of fullness before it is actually full.

Sensa comes in monthly supplies and is categorized in a different Testants. These consist of six different patent-pending scent/flavor combinations they claim will help trigger the brain mechanism that signals when you are full. Even if at the end of the month the left over Sensa is advised to be disgarded. This is supposedly because your body can become accustomed to the Tastants and will not be as effective if you use them for longer than 30 days. (Plus why would you buy more if you had some left over – sorry this is our cynical side).  Dr. Hirsch has specifically developed new and different Tastants for each month to ensure that you continue losing weight. If you find that you have a lot of Tastants left over, then you should sprinkle more Tastants on your food the next month.

Overall Impression of Sensa

This to me screams “gimmick” and I hope if your inquiring about Sensa you can see it for what it is and save $90. If you have any doubt just read the user comments below.  Aside from my rants of companies taking advantage of naive customers, I will give you some background on why Sensa is a failed diet plan. To begin I quote from the official site of Sensa. “The most likely reason that someone would gain weight when they begin Sensa is that they are not yet in tune with their body’s hunger signals. Eat slowly, and pay attention, as soon as you START to feel full you should stop eating. Also if you are already on another weight loss program or diet at the time that you start Sensa, you should continue on that program and use Sensa in addition to it.”  With or without Sensa our bodies already have hunger signals.  They proclaim to having to change the ingredients ever so slightly each month so your body will not become accustomed to the Tastants and it will not be as effective if you use them for longer than 30 days. Convenient for them, not so much for you.  If you really want to lose weight we recommend products that are effective and from Companies that stand by their products, see below.  If you have tried products that you like please comment on them or email us if you want us to review a product.
